The specialized Coal terminal of Vostochny Port JSC started to work in 1979.
Its specialization is coal handling using conveyer equipment. Today Coal Terminal of Vostochny Port JSC is the largest specialized terminal in the Russian Far East.

   The total area of the Coal Terminal is over 40 ha. Four open storage yards equipped with two stackers and four reclaimers are able to accommodate up to 600,000 MT of cargo simultaneously. The automated monitoring system provides high-quality and fast operation of the Complex.

   The vessels' loading is carried out at two berths with total length of 762 m. The berths are equipped with four ship loaders with service rate of 3,000 tons per hour each. Depths of the berths allow to handle vessels up to 150,000 MT dead weight.

   The terminal is equipped with modern system of conveyers and rail cars unloading station with two car dumpers. In wintertime four unfreezing units, servicing 72 four-shaft standard platform cars operate at the Terminal.

   At the Terminal is repair and engineering works, where repair at any complication is done. In additional there are truck park, bulldozers, cranes

   Rated throughput of the Coal Terminal is 12,5 mln. tons per year.
